[DOS-PR5U1V3A59-2MM-724389262162] New! ----- from New York's Largest Selection of Entertainment Media Since 1976! After the worldwide success of "Keep on Movin'," Virgin wanted Soul II Soul to follow-up with something in the same vein featuring the same singer. Group leaders Jazzie B. and Nellee Hooper were in a bit of a spot; Soul II Soul wasn't a group in the traditional sense as so much a loose collective of musicians and singers with members coming and going all the time. The only track they had of "Keep on Movin'" lead singer Caron Wheeler was an a cappella vocal which was used on the Keep on Movin' album. After B. and Hooper took the vocal, added a backing rhythm track, and issued it as a single, a lot of angry complaints came from misguided record buyers who bought the original LP pressings and didn't find the complete, full track but the a cappella version. The remix stands as a great example of the remixing skills of the duo, who became in-demand talent for numerous releases. Written by Beresford Romeo (aka Jazzie B.), "Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)" went platinum, hitting number one R&B and number four pop in fall 1989.CONDITION: NEWTRACK LISTINGA1 Back To Life (Club Mix) 7:37A2 Back To Life (Jam On The Groove Mix) 5:07B Back To Life (Back To The Beats) 4:36 International Buyers - Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
